Launch of KODACOLOR Film-to-Fabric (also known as DTF or Direct-to-Film) Ink System
Feb 03, 2022
Kodak launches new ink system for DTF (Direct-to-Film) / FTF (Film-to-Fabric) printing. The system can be used with most modified inkjet printers and includes powder, film, and ink. The benefits of DTF (Direct-to-Film) / FTF (Film-to-Fabric) include the ability to print on a wide variety of fabrics and less investment in hardware for startup. The Kodak KODACOLOR system includes powder, film, and ink specially designed for use in a film-to-fabric application. Kodak's DTF / FTF ink system is the ideal solution for fabric print shop owners wanting high-quality fabric prints without the expense of a full-fledged DTG fabric printing system. Kodak has been producing and selling digital inks since the 1990s, demonstrating their ongoing commitment to the inkjet business.
Kodak (KODACOLOR) issued an extensive press release on January 27th about the launch of their FTF / DTF (Direct-to-Film / Film-to-Fabric) products. Read the whole article about FTF / DTF on the Kodak website. The link opens a new window.
